Pia: Blacklist Email

Overview

This package allows the Chat User to block email addresses or domains on the client's mail system.

Process

The steps that the package takes during process execution are:

Manage Protect

1. Determines which mail system to access via global configuration.
2. Obtain a list of domains
3. Gather data on Manage Protect users & domains
4. Prompt Chat User for user or domain to action
5. Apply the update to the blacklist

Cloud Hybrid & Cloud Only

1. Prompt the engineer with a form and allow them to select between blocking an email or a domain
2. The emails or domains are checked to see if they are already blacklisted, if they are a warning is presented to the engineer
3. The emails or domains are checked to see if they are already whitelisted, if they are a warning is presented to the engineer
4. The engineer is presented with a list of changes to be implemented and requests confirmation prior to implementation
5. The changes requested are applied to the white or black lists, Pia reports on the success or failure of the implementation
