Processβ
The steps that the package takes during process execution are:
- Pia will obtain a list of users and sends a form prompting the engineer to select a user to troubleshoot issues for.
- Pia will then obtain a list of machines for the user and send a form prompting the engineer to select a users workstation
- If none exist pia will return a list of all available workstations for the client.
- Pia will then validate the user is part of the relevant security group.
- If not a part of the security group, the user will be asked if they would like to add them.
- Pia will begin the profile creation and create a desktop shortcut.
- Pia will prompt the engineer to ask if they would like to send an e-mail to the end user.
- Pia will then notify the end user that the account has been set up for remote desktop via email and inform the engineer that the email has been sent.
