Admin Training

Once you have reached the AI Ready Milestone we provide a basic admin training session to your Pia Admin (Quick Start: Basic Concepts). You may also request further training sessions with our team to get a deeper understanding of each of the areas of the Pia Platform - refer to the sessions below for more information.

Quick Start: Basic Concepts​

In this session, we'll explore some of the key areas of the Pia Portal and their setup. Additionally, we'll discuss certain Pia packages require mandatory configuration before they can be run.

What we'll cover:
  1. User Roles and Access
    • How each role in the Pia Portal functions
    • How to setup Access and Roles to restrict user access in Pia
  2. Pia Agent
    • Basis Concepts (including Agents administering and how the Agent works)
  3. Package Configurations
    • Pia packages that require manual configuration before they can be executed
    • A run through of each options available in the Package Configuration screen

Comprehensive Training​

If you find yourself asking "what do all of the other buttons do?" when you're in the Pia Partner Portal, this session is for you!

The comprehensive training session extends on the base knowledge from the quick start session. By now, you should understand the basics of how to configure clients, users, packages and agents within Pia. This session expands on this knowledge to cover a broader view of the features Pia provides and how to administer those features.

In this session, we will step through each of the screens in the Pia Partner Portal and give you an understanding of what each function does. This does not need to go into deep a level of detail for every feature, unless you request more information of course!

What we'll cover:
  1. A review of the clients, users, packages and agent configuration functions (as you have previously been trained on this)
  2. How to view and troubleshoot running automations as they are executing (Live Packages and Scheduled Packages)
  3. An overview of the Automation Editors and what they do (Package Editor, Form Editor, Activity Editor)
  4. An overview of Pia Canvas and when / how you might use it on your journey
  5. An introduction to the Software Screen / Repository Feature and questions / answers
  6. An overview of SmartForms (if applicable)

Note: "Overviews" are intended to introduce the feature to you and not for a deep dive. Setup of Canvas, SmartForms or Automation Training are covered by their respective training or TAM sessions. We can book additional sessions with you to cover these topics at your request!
