Testing and Training
This step consists of two components, your Pia Environment's Technical Validation which is undertaken by the Product Specialists on their own, your presence is not required for this task. After Technical Validation has passed, a training meeting to run through Pia use by the Service Desk between yourself(the Partner) and our Product Specialist will be scheduled.
Environment Technical Validationβ
The Technical Validation of the your Pia Environment is expected to take 60-120 mins. For the Technical Validation to commence, you(the Partner) must confirm the following has been completed:
- Client Dashboards for all Clients who will be using Pia are configured(see here)
- Agents have been deployed to all Clients(see here)
- 3 test tickets for "Cloud Hybrid" type Clients with the phrase "new user test" in the title/subject line and the body/description - ticket numbers supplied to our Product Specialist(for AutoTask Partners, please supply the entire ticket URL from the ticket window)
Automation Packages Trainingβ
After your environment passes Technical Validation, the second meeting for the training of your Service Desk Staff in the use of Pia Automation Packages will be scheduled. This meeting is expected to take 60 mins during which the Product Specialist will take your Service Desk Engineers through the use of Pia and will run through example packages. Additional configuration on a per-package level is also shown to your Pia Champion in this meeting.
